It's been almost an entire year!!!
It's been a constant journey of ups and downs with incredible moments since the last time! Isn't that life anyway? In the absence of writing I have had so many adventures come about the last year. I'm once again having that creative urge to get back to regularly keep up with pieces in here. But I'm not going up force it. My mister always reminds me to be authentic and keep it real and to be happy. So once it doesn't feel that way then I'll step away. That's what I seem to continually do with this blog. I dabble, I scribble and scrawl. Even if it's just a snippet and a glimpse. I'll do it as often as my mind ignites with passion to get the ideas out into the universe. Sometimes it might be a post with real, genuine substance. And then again, there could just be a random tidbit. That's just how I roll with this. I'm guessing it will depend on where my thoughts lead me to the moment. Lately there have been some incredible adventures with the mister and I. Especially our trip to DC & Falls Church & to see Blind Melon. That was such an awesome trip (I really should make a post about that as well, it's been a long time since I've written about my music adventures). The kids have had some amazing accomplishments as well. My son graduated high school and moved out to live on campus in college. Eleanor and the Pretty Things has had two amazing tours and they've released an EP and is about to drop another one. My daughter started high school and had a very successful Cross Country season and made high honors. My bonus daughter made me a Meme, with our gorgeous granddaughter. The other two bonus daughters are doing great things as well. I'm a very proud mama. With all the achievements, there's also been struggles and times of weariness. But through that pain, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Positivity and a strong mindset is what keeps us all keeping on. In the blink of an eye, time just flies right by as another season of the year begins. I vividly recall the moment in time of the age that my son is turning this month. This will be his last year of teenage hood. Time truly catches up with you when you least expect it to. Weren't all the kids just babies?...
